Spring
Hunter scrambled down the mountain as the first rays of light shone through the cloud cover overheard. She fluffed out her long fur enjoying the suns warmth. She looked down to the valley in the land below the den. The birds began to chirp with the arrival of early morning.
"Mom wake up its nice outside!" she yelled as she ran back to the den.
Diamond was curled up in her nest with her tail wrapped over her nose. Hunter wiggled under her tail and licked her face.
"You said you would take me hunting today remember?"
Diamond opened her eyes and licked the top of her daughters head.

My Love For Animals The care for creatures starts with a good heart
Not a passion to purchase them in a mart

Many a person say that cats have 9 lives
Yet I wonder how do they survive

Dogs are no different for they are just as strong
To be honest their bark sounds like a song

Bunnies and hamsters alike are just as cute
Save for the fact that their voices are almost mute

Elephants and giraffes can be big and tall
While snakes and salamanders slither and crawl

Though gorillas and apes may look ugly and large
Worry not they are as light as a barge

If you don't realize how their lives are precious
In the end they will turn quite ferocious

Gallery Submission Guidelines!

_{You can submit any artworks of which the main subject is an endangered animal.
Please be sure that at least one of the animal(s) featured in your work is an endangered species* before submitting your request. You can find it's conservation status out in a few seconds by simply Google searching or checking a site such as: earthsendangered.com.
You can also submit artworks of an extinct species to this group, but they must be submitted to the 'Extinct Animals' Gallery Folder.
The submission limit is 2 deviations per day.
Please submit your work to the correct folder in the gallery, else it will be declined.
Submissions to the 'Featured' folder are not allowed. Admins will move works to that folder if we feel the art is of very good quality.
All artworks are approved by the admins before being shown in the gallery.}

The previous Animal of the Month for April was the iberian lynx; the most endangered species of cat in the world. Below are we've featured the iberian lynx deviations submitted:

Animal of the Month: Macaw

This month we want to see deviations featuring macaws - most species are now endangered in the wild, while 6 species are already extinct.

The main threat to these parrots is loss of habitat - namely rainforest deforestation. However, their numbers are also declining due to being captured for parrot trade.

When Ursa, a young polar bear, is separated from her mother during a blizzard, she is ‘adopted’ by a gyrfalcon named Aroara. As time passes, Aroara continues to help Usra search for her mother until they meet a rogue polar bear named Fringe. After meeting Fringe, Aroara and Ursa are dragged into journey to stop a rebellion against the supposed gods, Humans.

Please give me feedback, good or bad. I would also like opinons of what you'd like ot not like to see in the future.
